Dustin has enjoyed a successful career for over 17 years in the restaurant industry. Mr. Coons began his career at Charlie Parker’s Diner Springfield IL. as a dishwasher in 2004. Since then, he has excelled in the industry, having worked at Panther Creek Country Club for 7 years before leaving home to travel and expand his culinary skillset. Upon return to his hometown, he was the Executive Chef tasked with opening of the kitchen at Finley’s Tap House Springfield. After a successful opening and operation for several years, he left to join Sangamo Brewing Co. in Chatham IL. There he was able to further develop his skills in setting up a kitchen and restaurant from concept to opening day. Dustin will act as the general manager for Legacy Pointe Eatery.
